Junkin Joe Vintage & Thrifty Finds…Features and LINKY PARTY All WELCOME

TGIF to everyone!  Friday also means it is time for
Junkin Joe…

come on in and join the fun…we have fun finds…tons of features…and then it’s time to party…

let’s start with JJ’s finds this week!
 Budget:  $10.00
 Spent:  $9.97
I have to say it is fun giving him a budget and it also leads to some interesting things…he knows that I have “vignettes” in mind so he focused in that direction this week…
obvious why he picked this little long dog…

 he’s a cutie…

he doesn’t even need to be fed!  Another doxie is always welcome in our house so he can

lounge around like the others!
Now this little guy made me smile too…I LOVE the wonderful world of Beatrix Potter so when I saw…

these little stripped legs…

cute little eyes…

contemplating life and having another cream cracker…he is also numbered and an actual official Beatrix Potter collectible…number 739 out of 1000!  Cool find…maybe Peter will follow?

JJ thought that this would be a nice additive to a vintage vignette and I so agree…

worn down and ready to tell a million stories…

filled with what appears to be copper dust…not too sure what it is but it is very interesting and will be fun to use at some point soon!

It’s funny…this is the third one that JJ has brought home…

he just couldn’t pass this vintage beauty up!  Even though he has never had a martini in his life…but may be this time

he will try one…shaken not stirred!

Diverse lot right!

I just found you too, through Heather, above. Great party, wonderful features. I love dogs too! Now following you happily.

I also went thrift shopping with a budget of $10 this week. Except the taxes were extra, so I sort of cheated. 😉

Andrea, thank you so much for the feature! I’ve been away and am just catching up now… And yes, I got to do a little thrifting while I was gone 🙂 So much fun to check out new places for old treasures! And what’s so much fun – I stayed with my Aunt who read the post about the mystery tin, and she sent me home with a handful of tins that belonged to mt Great Uncle! So excited to learn more about them… Does this make me a tin collector now? 😉
