This Quick and Easy DIY Farmhouse Dollar Store Candle will take you about 5 minutes to make! It goes with any Farmhouse decor and adds a touch of elegance on the cheap!
Thank you all for your kind words about our Quick and Easy Farmhouse Craft Series! Sure hope you enjoy this one. It is so quick and easy you might just miss it!!! You will find this one completely Budget Friendly and so simple to make. This rendition is very neutral but of course you can add color to it by painting the embellishments and using different ribbon. Hope you enjoy.
Let’s start with the supplies: I got a sheet of autumn wood stickers which are awesome. Then 2 candles, Two Glass Candle Holders, a Roll of Dollar Store Burlap Ribbon with wire, Dollar Store Lace Ribbon, Scissors and Glue.
Take your Burlap Ribbon and measure it around the glass container and cut…
wrap it around the Glass Candle Holder and attach at the back with a dab of glue.
Time to make the bow. Cut a strip of ribbon off the spool… criss cross the ribbon…
then take a small piece of ribbon 1/3 of the ribbon thickness … pinch the center… wrap that piece of ribbon around the center about 3 time and glue shut… hold it in place until set.
Now pick the embellishment you like and add it to your bow/bows. (you could paint the embellishment but I really like the neutral… so Farmhouse : )
Now… simply add the bow to the band around the Candle Holder… add the Candle and VIOLA!!!
If you like to mix things up a bit… you can give the the candle a new look just by wrapping a Burlap Band around the Candle… then a strip of the lace and finally one of the embellishments… it is so easy it will take less than 5 minutes. You can use this formula on any candle or candle holder … so enjoy!
Add them to Vignettes!
Add them anywhere!
soooo Budget friendly!!! Make MANY!!!! They make great gifts too!
