This Quick and Easy Wooden Bead Trivet will take you about 5 minutes to create! You can make them in all different sizes and all you need are 2 supplies and a scissors! EZ PZ!
Don’t Blink because you just might miss the tutorial… it’s that simple! We are always looking for a trivet when we go to take something out of the oven or when we have a hot pot of tea coming to the table! If you are like me… you usually have to dig in the drawer to find one! Well this trivet will solve the problem because you can hang it up and it looks decorative at the same time! It takes about 5 minutes to make… so why not make a few while you are at it. They make a great little gift too! I made mine in natural wood but you can stain them or paint them in your favorite color! A ton of possibilities! Come and let me show just how simple these are to make!
All you need are Wooden Beads (I used 1 inch but you can use any size you would like… just not too small)… then I have Faux Suede Cord and a Scissor! That’s it!
Cut a piece of your cord and start beading… just make sure the beads don’t fall off.
Determine the size you are looking for and continue to bead till you get there.
Now… tie a tight knot (I double it) so everything comes together tightly.
Then knot yourself a little loop and trim it…
so you can hang these little cuties any where so you can grab for these nice and easy. They also look great hanging there!
Then place on the table and even it out to form a perfect circle and VOILA!!! Great for Hot Lasagna to your favorite Tea Pot! Make them in varying sizes so you have one for whatever pan you are using!
They look great!
You can even paint them if you would like a pop of color!
Stain them if you like a rich wood!
You are going to love them. Make extras for gifts! Remember… just adjust the size by regulating the amount of beads… soooooo simple!
