Salted Caramel Brownie Parfait in a Jar

Well our week of Weddings in a Jar is coming to an end tomorrow and what would a mason jar collection be without a sweet and delicious dessert in a jar?  So I created a Salted Caramel Brownie Parfait for you!  It’s a perfect dessert any time and for any occasion…but during the whole Wedding experience there are so many special dinners…brunches…lunches…coffee time and I can think of any way to celebrate it better than with one of these yummy creations.

This salted caramel brownie parfait is layered with chocolate and whipped cream.

These pretty little desserts are so simple to make!

These brownie dessert parfaits are easy to assemble in mason jars.

–

–

I have to admit…I cheated a bit with these but when you are in a hurry and still want to make a beautiful dessert…cheating is aok!

These brownie caramel parfaits are topped with whipped cream and a chocolate crumble.

–

–

How did I cheat you ask? Well I used a good brownie mix and added a handful of chocolate chips into the batter for extra chocolate goodness…it is so quick and easy it saves you tons of time.  Save the brownies from scratch for when you are serving them on their own…by the time you add all of the extra goodness…no one will ever know you didn’t slave over them!

The layers of this dessert parfait are the perfect mixture of salty and sweet.

–

–

All you need now is whipped cream…chocolate pudding…caramel sauce and crushed Kit Kat bars or any candy of your choice!

These salted caramel parfaits are topped with brushed Kit Kat bars.

–

Oh yes…we need one more thing…we need to make them and it is oh so simple!

The chocolate in this dessert parfait pairs well with the caramel sauce.

  8. sprinkle a thin layer of crumbled candy
  9. add a layer of cool whip
  10. add another layer of brownie cubed brownies
  11. another ladle of caramel sauce with a pinch of salt
  12. at this point you can put the lids on and place them in the fridge till you are ready to use and then you can top them with cream...a drizzle of caramel sauce and a touch of candle crumbles.

These look amazing – can you make these two days ahead and store in the fridge? or how far ahead would you recommend?

Hi there Jacq! How are you : ) Oh yes…2 days is just fine! They hold up really fabulously! Actually…they are better when they sit for 2 days…the caramel soaks in a bit more and it is even tastier! : ) Sure hope you enjoy them!!! Here’s wishing you and yours a FABULOUS Holiday Season! Hugs…

Hi there… how are you Sheva. I have to be honest with you… I don’t think I would freeze them all made and in the jar. You could certainly make the brownies and freeze them so it is quicker to put together. I will tell you that if you have all the stuff ready to go… it does not take much time at all and will stay in the fridge nicely for a few days : ) Sure hope that helps…once again… I wish I could tell you what you want to hear but I have to be honest because I want it the best it can be for you. Take care…hugs…have a great weekend…

This looks so good can’t wait to make it!! Great dessert to make for a competition!!! Thanks for the help! I do have 1 question though! Is it ok to mash the brownies after cooked and add some chocolate sauce or is the extra chocolate took much?

Hi there Ella! How are you. So glad you like the idea of the Parfait and YES you can mash them and add chocolate sauce… it is my life experience that there is NEVER TOO MUCH CHOCOLATE 🙂 I am sure it will be delish!!! Here’s a little tip for more chocolate goodness… depending on your brownie recipe… if it has a liquid being added… instead of all water or milk… add 1/2 Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup… adds moisture and chocolate goodness! Hope you and your family ENJOY! Sending wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Hugs!
