The Best Coconut Oil Beauty Hacks are waiting for you to check out. You will find fabulous ideas on how to use coconut oil from eye cream to body scrub plus!
Adding coconut oil to your beauty routine is not an entirely new concept. However, it’s becoming a cult favorite of a lot of women. Many products, from shampoo and conditioner, to facial wash and shaving cream, have added coconut oil to their list of ingredients, thanks to all the benefits it has. Coconut oil has a high fatty acid content and contains antibacterial properties. It is packed with antioxidants and Vitamin E. It can tame your unruly hair, moisturize your skin, remove your makeup, and so much more! Know more about the endless uses and how you can incorporate this wonder oil. Here are the best coconut oil beauty hacks that you should know.
Makeup Remover
Even the toughest and the most water resistant mascara doesn’t stand a chance against this oil. Apply coconut oil directly to your face in the same manner as any facial cleanser or use a cotton pad or ball. It will melt the makeup away.
Body Moisturizer
Coconut oil is high in fatty acids, making it an effective moisturizer. Plus, the skin absorbs it quickly. Make your skin more glowing, soft, and radiant by applying coconut oil after you step out of the shower or before you go to bed.
Breath Freshener
Gargling a spoonful of coconut oil for at least 20 minutes can clear up the germs in your mouth. Since this oil has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, it can lead to fresher breath, healthier gums, and even whiter teeth.
Facial Moisturizer
Just as you can use it as a body moisturizer, coconut oil can also moisturize your face. It can act as an organic primer that you can apply to your skin just before you start applying your makeup. Using coconut oil as a facial moisturizer can give you a glowing and dewy look.
Lip Balm
If you have chapped lips, coconut oil can do the trick. This wonder oil is an ideal remedy for dry skin, especially in a semisolid form. Place some coconut oil in a small jar and keep it at room temperature. Use it to soften your lips.
If you want to take your lip balm to the next level, you can turn it into a tinted lip gloss. Just mix coconut oil with any of your old lipstick.
Body Scrub
Using coconut oil as body scrub has long effects on the skin. Mix 1/2 cup of coconut oil with a handful of sugar or salt. Use the solution to scrub your skin during bath time. Under Eye Cream
Eye creams can be very expensive, especially the favorites. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on these creams or you’re looking for an organic alternative, use coconut oil.
Dab coconut oil on your under eyes and fine lines. Since this oil is light, it is safe to be used on the most delicate parts of your face.
Whitening Toothpaste
Do you want to have whiter teeth? Coconut oil is a cheaper alternative than going to the dentist and having your teeth whitened. Add baking soda to coconut oil, apply it on your teeth, then brush as usual.
Deep Conditioner
Using coconut oil on your hair can help tame frizz and makes your hair softer and shinier. This oil can also prevent dandruff, and it’s great for dry hair, too.
Apply hot coconut oil to your hair before you shampoo and condition. Leave the oil in your hair for about an hour before washing.
