Come and check out the Best Non-Alcoholic Cocktails that would be perfect for your next party or barbecue! Refreshing and delicious!
Sometimes, you just need a cocktail — but you don’t necessarily want to drink alcohol. Maybe you can’t drink at the moment, or perhaps you just don’t want to have a hangover or you might have a medical condition that alcohol doesn’t mix with! Either way, you’re skipping the extra pour, but you’re not quite sure what to drink.
You can have the best of both worlds with a liquor-free libation. The FDA defines non-alcoholic drinks as those that contain no more than 0.5 percent alcohol. These are some of our favorites that fall into that category — and most have no booze whatsoever.
1. Non-Alcoholic Raspberry Mojito
A hot summer’s day might have you craving a mojito. You can get all of that minty, sweet goodness sans rum, you know. Try this recipe, which also incorporates the tartness of raspberries for a full-bodied flavor. You won’t miss the booze in this one, we promise.
2. Cuddles on the Beach
The tongue-in-cheek name for this libation is surprisingly not the best thing about it. Turns out, it’s really easy to make — you only need three types of juice to mimic the flavors of its alcohol-inclusive inspiration.
3. Sweet Vanilla Bean Iced Latte
Who needs a White Russian or an Irish coffee when you have a vanilla bean iced latte? This coffee cocktail requires only four ingredients, and it tastes like a milkshake. But you get the added bonus of a caffeine kick to keep you going, whether you’ve just woken up or hit your mid-afternoon slump.
4. Virgin Sangria
Next up, we have another summertime classic: sangria. You can make this one without wine, but you won’t miss out on any of the drink’s rich flavor. The recipe calls for some steeped tea to be added to the mix, alongside pomegranate juice. Now, this sounds like a strange combo, but together with the fruit and sweeteners, it’s just as sweet and sippable as the Spanish classic.
5. Spicy Grapefruit Ginger Fizz
It’s got an alcohol-inclusive-sounding name, but ginger beer is an alcohol-free beverage. So, feel free to pour it in if you’re making this tasty, zingy cocktail. You’ll match the spice of the ginger beer with the tartness of grapefruit. Voila!
6. Dark and Fruity
A Dark and Stormy contains dark rum, as the name somewhat implies. But if you don’t want any of that Caribbean liquor, then opt for a Dark and Fruity instead. The recipe contains some fresh fruit and herbs — mint and blueberries, to be exact — as well as a healthy pour of pineapple juice. The resulting mocktail is sweet and a bit herby, too.
7. Paloma Mocktail
Perhaps you’re craving something a bit more bubbly. In that case, try out a Paloma mocktail, which has all of that tangy grapefruit flavor you’re craving. This recipe gives you spiciness, too, but not from tequila: you’ll make a rosemary simple syrup and add a sprig to your finished cocktail for that extra little kick.
Craft a Liquor-Free Libation
Clearly, you don’t need alcohol to make a tasty cocktail. These are only seven of the many drink recipes that pack plenty of flavor without a final, boozy punch. So, start mixing and figure out what you like. Then, grab a straw and start sipping on the liquor-free libation you’ve created.
