When you are browsing through your Local Thrift Shop…keep your eyes peeled for some cool hardware. It could even be on an inexpensive piece of furniture because they make really awesome hooks and organizers. BHG shows us that just by adding a little shower clip to the handle…you could be hanging notes…glasses…keys and more in total Farmhouse style.
When Larissa from Prodigal Pieces saw these Louver Doors at her Thrift Shop…she swooped them up immediately. You have to visit her and watch her create a fabulous Farmhouse Shelf. I have seen so many Thrift Store Creations…but I have never seen a Laundry Hamper made from a Broken Thrift Store End Table! It’s a first. When you visit Faeries and Fauna she is going to share her DIY with you and I know you are going to love it. It’s the perfect Farmhouse Laundry Hamper…I’m thinking of making one using drop cloth as the fabric…think of all the possibilities…so many fabrics and trim out there. This would also make a great Toy Storage piece for the Kids Room too! Enjoy!

BHG shows us a fabulous idea for many different Flea Market Signs. They started by giving an old cart a paint makeover. Then added some refurbished Thrift Store Drawers to hold all kinds of glasses…then added a Thrifted Suitcase and converted it into a bar (I LOVE how they placed all of the utensils in the back pocket of the case. So simple but yet so Contemporary Farmhouse. This might be a budget friendly piece but it looks like a million dollars.
Redoux Interiors found a free Old White Book Shelf that has seen better days…but she had a plan and it worked!!! She transformed it into a Rustic Farmhouse Rolling Cart with tons of personality. See how she did it and the next time you run into an old bookshelf you just might look at it in a different way!
It’s time to visit Organized Clutter where you will watch the transformation of a piece of Very Dated Thrift Shop Wall Art into a wonderful Faux Chalkboard Office Sign. Kind of makes you think about those old…really dated pieces you pass by many times!
Here’s another brilliant piece by Larissa from Prodigal Pieces. She found some old Mirror Frames (without the mirrors : )…come and see how she transformed them into two incredible Farmhouse Chalkboards…LOVE them!!!
