10 Fabulous Contemporary Farmhouse IKEA Hacks

Hi everyone…a little personal note here.  For the last 10 days I have been in the hospital (should be home soon) and I wanted the blog to keep running but we might miss a post or have a day with two printable in case I need a little extra time.  I just didn’t want you to be worried.  We haven’t had a good IKEA Hack post in a long time so I put together 10 Fabulous Contemporary Farmhouse IKEA Hacks that I sure hope you will enjoy.  I know one is extremely expensive but I had to add it because it looks amazing.  I even think Joanna Gaines would use #2!  I hope you enjoy them all and hopefully you will never miss me because I really want the my own record of 1115 straight days of posting to remain : )  Love you all…now check out the IKEA Hacks!

 

In one second you can turn and IKEA Ivar Into a fabulous Magazine Rack by simply leaning it against the wall.  No matter what your home decor style…this will work for you!  You can also take it to the next level by adding a paint treatment or stain.

 

Ok…I know that this is a really expensive hack…but I had to show it to you because it is just too cool not to.  IKEA Kitchen Cabinet Fronts turned into Wall Panels…I mean come on…how incredible do they look!  So if you were ever thinking about a wall like this…this could be the easiest way to do it.  LOVE IT!

 

This is so awesome! IKEA Hackers will show you how to make a Storage Side Table literally in the blink of an eye with  Ragkorn (plant pot) and a Snudda (lazy susan)…it’s basically instant and will fit any home decor.

 

I basically love anything made with the IKEA Moppe Chest and this one from Ikea Hackers is fun.  Come and see how to “map it out” and add faux leather handles…it’s a great piece for an office or just about anywhere.  Once again…fits all styles of home decor.

 

Don’t you just love a “home decor” friendly Pet Bed!  Just like this one.  One Bullig Box + an IKEA Len Pillow =’s one happy kitty and one pretty bed (instantly).

 

Check out this West Elm-Inspired IKEA Arod Lamp Hack…I will be honest with you… you can’t tell one from another.  All you need is some paint and some sisal rope!  Come and see how simple it is to make…all you need is an hour or two!

 

I had to include this one…it is one of my most very favorite IKEA Hacks of all time…you might have seen it featured here before but it is worth a second look.  Come and see how Oliver and Rust hack a simple IKEA Bekvam Kitchen Cart into a fabulous Farmhouse Kitchen Counter Cart.  From by and get the how to…this one is simply wonderful and there is no way it looks like it was home-made!

 

Sometimes the Farmhouse Look is only a paint job away!  Come and visit Allison over at The Golden Sycamore as she takes a plain IKEA Vanity to Farmhouse Fabulousness and you can do in a snap!…Add the perfect mirror and you are golden!  Enjoy!
