Such a wonderful Contemporary Farmhouse Piece here at Saw Nail and Paint. I just love reading how the makeovers are done and how different people use totally unique techniques. Like Susan… after sanding she gave the base two coats of shellac based primer … well you can find out the rest when you visit her. It’s just so interesting to see how they get to an amazing finish. ENJOY!
This beautiful dresser needed much loving care and Kathy over at Petticoat Junktion decided to “restore” and not paint. The results were simply incredible and she shares how she brought this lady back to life.

Anne took this very dated piece of furniture and turned it into a fabulous Farmhouse delight! Come and see how she tried the color on for size… but the special thing is is that she created the color herself so it would be picture perfect. She chose a pale aqua for the inside which gave the piece such a warm depth and interest. See how she put it all together and maybe you can use her technique on one of your creations. Enjoy your visit.
