Download six free printable mallard wall art prints in 5×7 and 8×10 sizes, available as PDF or JPG for cozy cottage decor.
Hi friends… I have another little gallery for you today and I have to say… I am really loving this one!
There is something so wonderfully timeless about mallards. They make me think of quiet lakes, misty mornings, old country homes and those beautiful vintage nature illustrations that somehow feel right at home whether your style leans farmhouse, cottage, rustic or traditional.
So today I have a Free Printable Mallard Wall Art Gallery filled with six coordinating duck prints that have that soft, collected, slightly vintage look I know so many of us love.
You will find individual mallards, ducks in flight, a peaceful pair on the water and even a misty pond scene that feels like something you might discover tucked inside an old nature book.
Each print is available in 5×7 and 8×10 sizes and you can choose either PDF or JPG, so they are easy to print and enjoy around your home.

A Free Printable Mallard Wall Art Gallery
This collection has a lovely quiet feeling to it.
The soft greens, warm browns, touches of blue and creamy backgrounds make the pieces easy to mix into all kinds of spaces. You could use one print on its own or arrange several together for a small gallery wall.
I especially like these for fall because the colors feel so natural and cozy… but nothing about them screams autumn. That means they can stay up all year long.
They would be beautiful in a cottage living room, study, entryway, mudroom, lake house, cabin or even tucked onto a kitchen shelf with a few vintage pieces.
The Classic Mallard
Our first print features a handsome mallard standing against a simple creamy background with just a hint of grasses beneath him. His deep green head, warm chestnut breast and soft neutral feathers give this one the feel of an old natural history illustration. It would be wonderful framed by itself or paired with one of the flying duck prints.
Mallards on a Misty Pond
This may be one of my favorites. Two mallards float quietly across a misty pond surrounded by soft trees and branches. The faded green and blue palette gives it such a peaceful, almost dreamlike feeling. This is a beautiful choice for a bedroom, reading nook or any corner where you want something calm and understated.
Female Mallard in Flight
I love that this gallery includes the beautiful female mallard too. This print shows her in flight with her wings extended and that lovely flash of blue showing in the feathers. The white background keeps the piece simple and lets all of those subtle brown, cream and blue details shine.
Vintage Female Mallard
Here we have a classic standing female mallard painted in warm natural browns and soft cream tones. Her beautifully patterned feathers give this one so much texture without making the print feel busy. It has that vintage field guide look that works especially well with collected cottage decor.
Mallard Taking Flight
This handsome mallard is captured just as he takes flight… wings open wide and that unmistakable green head standing out beautifully against the soft background. There is a little more movement in this one, so it makes a nice companion to the quieter standing portraits.
Mallard Pair on the Water
The final print features two mallards peacefully swimming together. Soft blue water, gentle reflections and the warm earthy colors of the ducks make this one feel especially charming. It would look lovely in a grouping with the misty pond print for a little lakeside inspired moment.A Few Easy Printing Tips
For the prettiest results, I like using a good quality matte cardstock or heavyweight presentation paper. It gives the artwork a little more richness and keeps it from looking too shiny. If you are printing at home, be sure to choose the correct size and use your printer’s highest quality setting when possible. You can also save the JPG files and have them printed at your favorite local or online photo printer. Then comes the fun part… grab a thrifted frame, an old wood frame, something brass or even a simple black frame and see what feels right. These prints are wonderfully forgiving because they work with so many different styles.
Decorating With Mallard Wall Art
I think these would be especially pretty mixed with vintage landscapes, botanical prints and other nature inspired artwork. You could create a small gallery over a console table… prop one on a kitchen shelf… add a pair to a cozy reading corner… or mix them into a larger collected wall with landscapes and antique inspired art. And because the palette is so soft and natural, the collection works beautifully with warm woods, faded blues, sage greens, creams and all those cozy cottage colors we love.
If you have been looking for something a little different for your walls, I hope you enjoy this Free Printable Mallard Wall Art Gallery.
