ALDI Finds for August 26, 2026, with Disney Halloween favorites, football fashion, game day finds, new foods and a plentiful vegetarian snack for under $15.
Hello, friends! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME MICKEY MOUSE AND FOOTBALL???
Because ALDI apparently looked at the calendar this week and said…
“Why choose between Disney Halloween and football season when we can do BOTH?”
And honestly…I support this decision. Lol!
We have Mickey dressed for spooky season…the sweetest Pooh Bear pumpkin pillow…Disney pajamas and slippers for the little ones…cozy game day clothes for the entire family…football accessories…fun serving pieces…new freezer finds…and a few treats that are already trying to jump into my cart.
Then we are making one BIG platter of Crispy Loaded Cheddar Parmesan Smashed Potatoes for under $15. It is perfect for football watching, but it can also be served as a plentiful appetizer or an easy side dish.
So grab your quarter…grab those shopping bags…and let us take a look at the ALDI Finds arriving for the week of August 26 through September 1, 2026!

ALDI Finds Can Vary by Store
As always, my friends…ALDI prices, products and availability can vary from store to store. Online grocery prices can also be different from the prices you see inside your local ALDI.
These special ALDI Finds are scheduled for the August 26 through September 1 Finds week, but we all know how the Aisle of Shame works. Some products arrive early…some arrive late…and some adorable little things disappear before we have even found a parking space.
Sizes, colors, characters and designs will also vary by store, so I would shop early if there is one particular style calling your name.
For food products, always check the package if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Ingredients and manufacturing information can change. I always take another look for gelatin, confectioner’s glaze and other ingredients that might not work for a vegetarian diet, especially when seasonal sweets are involved.
Now…let us go shopping!
MICKEY, MINNIE, POOH AND A LITTLE HALLOWEEN MAGIC
Friends…ALDI is not finished with Disney!
Last week gave us an entire Disney Palooza, and this week Mickey, Minnie, Pooh and Stitch are slipping into their Halloween costumes. These are the kinds of limited character finds that can disappear very quickly, so I would not wait until the weekend if someone in your family is a serious Disney fan.
Licensed Disney Halloween Mickey Ghost Pillow
Mickey dressed as the happiest little ghost might be exactly what your sofa needs for Halloween!
This is playful and festive without being scary, which makes it especially sweet for a family room, child’s bedroom or cozy reading chair. Add it to a pile of orange, black or cream pillows and Mickey will take care of the rest.
Shop at ALDI
Licensed Disney Halloween Pooh Bear Pumpkin Pillow
POOH BEAR AS A PUMPKIN!
Come on…how are we expected to walk past this?
This one has that soft, cheerful Winnie the Pooh sweetness that works beautifully for Halloween without feeling too spooky. I can see it in a nursery, a child’s room or tucked into the corner of a cozy Fall sofa.
Shop at ALDI
Licensed Toddler Disney Halloween Character Slippers
Tiny character slippers for $5.99 are officially in the Danger Zone!
Look for seasonal character styles and several toddler sizes. These would be adorable paired with the matching pajamas for Halloween movie night…or simply worn around the house while your little one leaves a trail of toys from one room to another.
Shop at ALDI
Licensed Toddler Disney Halloween Character Pajamas
There are Mickey and Stitch styles among the character choices, and at $9.99 these make such a fun little seasonal surprise.
Add the slippers…pick a favorite Disney movie…make some popcorn…and you have a very easy Halloween family night without spending a fortune.
Shop at ALDI
Disney Halloween Plush…Mickey and Minnie
Mickey and Minnie have dressed for Halloween and they are ready to come home with you!
These would be adorable tucked into a child’s Halloween basket, sitting on a bed or joining the rest of a Disney collection. Pooh and Stitch styles are also scheduled, so there may be some very serious decisions waiting in that aisle.
Shop Mickey Shop Minnie
Licensed Disney Halloween Character Ears
ALDI has licensed Halloween ears in several festive designs, including bat inspired and glow in the dark styles.
These could be fun for a Halloween party, a Disney trip, handing out candy or any day when your outfit simply needs a little more magic. At $5.99, they are also an easy addition to a Halloween gift basket.
Shop at ALDIREADY FOR KICKOFF…GAME DAY STYLE FOR THE FAMILY
Whether you are heading to the stadium, watching from the sofa or mostly showing up for the snacks…ALDI has decided you should dress for the occasion.
This week includes game day tops, children’s pullovers, pajamas and accessories. Most of the designs use easy neutral colors, which means you can wear them throughout football season without having to match one specific team.
Live in Style Haul It All Medium Football Tote
This is the bag for the person who somehow ends up carrying EVERYTHING.
Use it for tailgating supplies…blankets…snacks…children’s gear…groceries…or all the mysterious things the rest of the family hands you five minutes after leaving the house. The football design makes it especially fun for game days, but the roomy size will keep working long after the final whistle.
Shop at ALDI
Serra Long Sleeve Game Day Tops
These easy long sleeve tops come in neutral game day designs that will work with jeans, leggings or joggers.
They are casual enough for an afternoon on the sofa but pulled together enough for a party or school event. Add sneakers and one of the football accessories below and your game day outfit is officially DONE.
Shop at ALDI
Lily & Dan Children’s Super Fan Football Pullovers
How cute are these little Super Fan pullovers?
At only $5.99, they are a very affordable way to include the smallest football fans in all the fun. Look for toddler sizes and different designs, then add comfy pants and let them cheer for approximately six minutes before asking for another snack.
Sounds about right! Lol!
Shop at ALDI
Serra Long Sleeve Game Day Pajamas
These are for those of us who take sofa based football watching VERY seriously.
The beige game day design is cozy, cute and neutral enough to wear throughout the season. Put them on…grab a blanket…fill a plate with smashed potatoes…and suddenly you have a complete Sunday afternoon plan.
Shop at ALDI
Serra Football Game Day Accessories
Look for football headbands, hoop earrings and dangle earrings among the choices.
These are little pieces with a lot of personality, and they would make a fun gift for the football fan, team mom or game day hostess in your life. At $4.99, this is another find I expect to be picked over quickly.
Shop at ALDIBRING A LITTLE FOOTBALL FUN HOME
You do not need to redecorate the entire house for football season. One pillow…one cute serving bowl…or a tray of football shaped ice cubes is more than enough to make game day feel special.
Kirkton House Go Sports Football Pillow
This is an easy way to give the sofa or favorite game watching chair a little football personality without turning the entire living room into a locker room.
Toss it in with the pillows you already own…bring out a cozy throw…and the room is ready before the snacks have even made it onto the coffee table.
Shop at ALDI
Crofton Football Ice Tray and Game Day Gadgets
These little Crofton gadgets are inexpensive, silly and completely unnecessary…which is exactly why they are fun!
Look for football and soccer ice trays along with other small game day gadgets. Use the trays for ice, frozen lemonade cubes or even little chocolate treats for a party platter.
Shop at ALDI
Crofton Mini Football Snack Bowl
At $2.99, this little football shaped bowl can come out for every game without creating a major seasonal decorating investment.
Fill it with nuts…pretzels…candy…olives…dip…or any small snack your family loves. I also think several of these lined up across a table would make an adorable game day snack bar.
Shop at ALDITWO EASY SNACK SUGGESTIONS FOR THIS WEEK
Not every snack needs a recipe. Sometimes we just need something inexpensive that can be opened, dipped and enjoyed!
Fit & Active Cheddar Rice Snacks
These crunchy little rice snacks are just waiting to be dipped into something delicious.
If you are watching calories, pick up a container of plain Greek yogurt and a packet of ALDI Ranch Dressing Mix. Spoon the amount of yogurt you want into a bowl, then add the ranch powder a little at a time until the flavor is exactly right for you.
Do not pour the whole packet in at once! You can always add more…but it is rather difficult to take it back out. Lol!
Shop at ALDI
Park Street Deli Roasted Red Pepper Topped Hummus
ALDI hummus is always worth a look, but the roasted red pepper topping adds a lovely little pop of sweet and savory flavor.
Bring out multigrain crackers, cucumber slices, mini peppers or pita wedges and start dipping. You can also spread it inside a vegetable wrap instead of mayonnaise or add a generous spoonful to a grain bowl.
Oh…the possibilities!
Shop at ALDINEW FOOD FINDS AVAILABLE AUGUST 26
There are some genuinely useful foods arriving this week…plus a few treats because apparently ALDI believes balance means putting frozen vegetables and S’mores cookies in the same cart.
Fair enough!
DePalo Foods Neapolitan 00 Pizza Dough
I will be picking up a few of these!
Fresh pizza dough made with Neapolitan style 00 flour for $1.79 makes me say, “Why didn’t I think of that?” Keep a ball or two in the refrigerator for homemade pizza night, garlic knots, cheesy breadsticks or even little vegetable calzones.
Dinner suddenly feels much easier.
Shop at ALDI
Benton’s Summer Fair S’mores Sandwich Cookies
This feels like the perfect little treat for celebrating the unofficial end of Summer.
You get all those familiar S’mores flavors in an easy sandwich cookie with no campfire, sticky fingers or frantic search for the one marshmallow that rolled under the picnic table. Before purchasing, check the current package if gelatin or other specialty ingredients are a concern for your household.

Breakfast Best Apple Cinnamon Stuffed Waffles
These will be in my cart!
Apple and cinnamon tucked inside a warm waffle sounds like such a lovely little treat for the first cool Fall morning. Heat one when you need a quick breakfast or afternoon pick me up and add a spoonful of yogurt or some fresh fruit if you want to make it a little more substantial.
Shop at ALDI
Breakfast Best Blueberry Stuffed Waffles
These will probably be in my cart too!
The blueberry version gives us another easy breakfast for those mornings when everyone is hungry and nobody has time to stand over the stove. Warm one up…pour the coffee…and we are officially functioning.
Shop at ALDI
Specially Selected Fire Roasted Vegetables
This one is for everyone already mourning the loss of those beautiful Spring and Summer farm market vegetables!
The fire roasted flavor makes frozen vegetables feel a little more special. Serve them as a quick side dish, spoon them over rice, toss them with pasta or add them to soup. I plan to keep two bags in the freezer because this is the kind of shortcut that can rescue dinner on a busy night.
Shop at ALDI
Season’s Choice Beer Battered Onion Rings
I am not an onion fan…but I know MANY people will be excited to see these!
They look like an easy crispy side for burgers, sandwiches or football snacks. I am still waiting for ALDI to bring back the original seasoned fries and seasoned potato wedges because they were THE BEST.
Their disappearance left a little crack in this family’s heart. I am not being dramatic. Okay…maybe a little dramatic!
Shop at ALDI
Specially Selected Asiago Peppercorn Sourdough
ALDI sourdough bread is delicious, especially when it is toasted, so I have a feeling this Asiago Peppercorn loaf will not disappoint.
Use it for grilled cheese…serve thick slices beside soup…toast it for a savory breakfast…or cut it into cubes and turn it into the most flavorful croutons. I think a slice of this with tomato soup would make one very happy little Fall lunch.
Shop at ALDIStart Thinking About Game Day Snacks
Football is coming back…and basketball will not be far behind. GO KNICKS!
Do yourself a favor and take a slow walk through the ALDI snack aisles before everyone starts planning game day parties. The prices are usually much kinder than the big name alternatives and the variety is almost ridiculous.
Crackers…pretzels…popcorn…chips…salsa…hummus…nuts…cheese…frozen appetizers…ALDI has enough options to build an entire snack table without sending the grocery budget into overtime.
I will begin sharing some of my family’s favorites next week, so we can start building our own little list of easy, affordable game day winners!

What You’ll Need From ALDI
- 2 packages Little Yellows or Bite Size Medley Potatoes, 24 ounces each
- 1 Happy Farms Sharp Cheddar Cheese Block, 8 ounces
- 1 container Reggano Grated Parmesan Cheese, 8 ounces
- 1 container Friendly Farms Sour Cream, 16 ounces
From the Pantry
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¾ teaspoon salt, plus additional salt for the cooking water
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional dried parsley for color
How To Make Them
1. Cook the potatoes.
Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover them with cold water by approximately one inch. Add a generous pinch of salt.
Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat slightly and cook the potatoes for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. They are ready when a fork slides easily into the center. They should be tender but not falling apart.
2. Drain and dry.
Drain the potatoes thoroughly and allow them to sit in the colander for approximately 5 minutes.
This gives the excess moisture time to evaporate. Drier potatoes will become much crispier in the oven.
3. Prepare the pans.
Preheat the oven to 450°F.
Line two large rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. Divide the potatoes between the pans, leaving a little room between each one.
Using two baking sheets prevents the potatoes from becoming crowded and steaming instead of roasting.
4. Smash the potatoes.
Use the bottom of a drinking glass, sturdy mug or measuring cup to gently press each potato until it is approximately ½ inch thick.
Do not worry if some of the edges split or break apart. All those imperfect little edges will become wonderfully crispy!
5. Season the potatoes.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and black pepper.
Brush or spoon the seasoned oil generously over the potatoes. Try to work a little of the oil into the cracks and around the edges.
6. Roast until crispy.
Place the pans in the oven and roast the potatoes for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
Rotate the pans and switch their positions halfway through cooking so the potatoes brown evenly. They should be deeply golden with crisp edges before you add the cheese.
7. Add the cheddar and Parmesan.
While the potatoes are roasting, shred the entire block of sharp cheddar cheese.
Remove the pans from the oven. Sprinkle approximately ½ cup of grated Parmesan evenly over the potatoes, followed by the shredded cheddar.
Return the pans to the oven for another 6 to 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbling and beginning to brown around the edges.
For an extra golden finish, place the potatoes under the broiler for approximately 1 minute. Watch them closely because the cheese can brown very quickly.
8. Serve.
Allow the potatoes to rest for approximately 5 minutes. This gives the cheese time to settle and helps the crispy bottoms release from the parchment.
Arrange them on a large platter and serve with the sour cream for dipping.
You can also add a small dollop of sour cream to each potato immediately before serving. Just do not add it too far ahead of time because it can soften those wonderfully crispy potatoes.

Make Them Ahead
These potatoes are a wonderful make ahead football snack!
Boil, drain and smash the potatoes up to one day before serving. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheets and let them cool completely. Cover and refrigerate.
When you are ready to bake, brush the cold potatoes with the seasoned olive oil and roast according to the recipe. Because they are starting cold, they may need approximately 5 additional minutes to become golden and crispy.
For the best texture, wait to roast the potatoes and add the cheeses until shortly before serving.
Build a Loaded Potato Topping Bar
Place the crispy potatoes on a large platter and let everyone pile on their favorite toppings. Use whatever you already have or choose one or two affordable extras from ALDI.
Try:
- Guacamole or diced avocado
- Thinly sliced green onion tops
- Fresh chives
- Salsa
- Diced tomatoes
- Pickled jalapeños
- Sliced black olives
- Corn
- Seasoned black beans
- Ranch dressing
- French onion dip
- Hot sauce
- Vegetarian bacon style crumbles
- Crushed tortilla chips
- Extra sour cream
- Extra shredded cheese
- Fresh cilantro
- A sprinkle of crushed red pepper
The additional toppings are optional and are not included in the $13.99 base recipe total. Even without the extras, the crispy potatoes, two cheeses and cool sour cream give us one very generous and delicious game day platter!
What’s in My Cart This Week?
Well friends…apparently this is the week my freezer and refrigerator both requested a few new residents.
I will be buying the ingredients for our smashed potatoes:
- 2 bags of Little Yellows or Bite Size Medley Potatoes
- Happy Farms Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Reggano Grated Parmesan
- Friendly Farms Sour Cream
I also plan to pick up a few balls of that $1.79 DePalo pizza dough because homemade pizza night just became too easy to ignore.
Both stuffed waffle flavors are calling my name…and I would really like two bags of those fire roasted vegetables waiting in the freezer for quick meals.
As for Mickey Ghost…Pooh Bear Pumpkin…the football accessories and that $2.99 snack bowl…
I am going to TRY to behave.
Please notice that I said TRY. Lol!
One Very Fun ALDI Week
Well friends…I think ALDI has officially taken us from Halloween movie night straight into football Sunday without giving us a chance to catch our breath.
We have Mickey dressed as a ghost…Pooh Bear dressed as a pumpkin…cozy football clothes…game day gadgets…easy freezer foods…stuffed waffles…S’mores cookies…and one very big platter of cheesy smashed potatoes.
That sounds like a pretty good week to me!
Remember…shop smart…check what you already have before you go…and look carefully at those limited Finds if there is a particular size or character you want.
And if Pooh Bear Pumpkin somehow ends up sitting in your cart…
I saw NOTHING!
Sending you lots of love and the biggest (((HUGS)))
